“Ocean Eyes,” stormy hair?
Billie Eilish showed off a colorful new ‘do on her Instagram Stories Tuesday, revealing a swirly rainbow pattern on the crown of her head that many fans think looks like a map on the TV weather report.
The “What Was I Made For” singer, 21, sat on a floor in the pic, twisting her head away from the camera to show off a red, orange, yellow and green pattern dyed into the roots of her black hair.
The design, which resembles the type of map you see depicting a storm pattern, extends down to her right ear, with red dye covering the side of her face and nape of her neck.
Eilish — who recently revealed her huge back tattoo — kept the rest of her hair black, pulling it up in a loose knot as she wore a white button-up shirt under a denim top with jeans.
Twitter users couldn’t help but poke fun at her maplike hair, like one who wrote, “it’s giving AccuWeather.”
“The eye of the storm is just a cowlick,” another tweeter quipped.
“I support her future in the NWS,” a third fan wrote on Twitter, referring to the National Weather Service and superimposing a graphic with a weather alert from the organization on top of Eilish’s pic.
Others compared the “Bad Guy” singer’s style to a heat map used for soccer players, like the Culture Ultras Football Podcast, which tweeted, “‘What style would you like?’ ‘Box to box midfielder heat map, please’.”
Eilish is known for her wild hair colors over the years, with the Grammy winner frequently switching up her style to everything from lavender to blue to platinum blond and everything in between.
Most recently, she went for a jet-black style with chunky red streaks that she debuted at Lollapalooza in August and rocked throughout the late summer and early fall.
With the holidays approaching, perhaps she’ll add some more red and green into her dye routine.
