Travis Scott is bringing back the Mac Attack.
Pvnew Style can exclusively reveal that the “Sicko Mode” rapper has teamed up with famed tennis pro John McEnroe to design a new sneaker for Nike.
“The new Mac Attack sneakers are in the works,” a source tells us. “The collaboration is definitely happening.”
We hear McEnroe spent “hours” with Scott, who showed up to their meeting with his now-viral handcuffed “Utopia” briefcase and a “mysterious” custom Nike tracksuit.
Reps for Scott, McEnroe and Nike didn’t immediately return Pvnew Style’s requests for comment.
McEnroe, 64, and Nike released the first Mac Attack shoe in 1984.
Meanwhile, Scott, 32, has been photographed alongside his bodyguard, who has the aforementioned briefcase handcuffed to his wrist at all times, frequently over the past few weeks.
We’re told that the “Butterfly Effect” rapper plans to continue his “crazy rollout” with more “disruptive” events and preview the album for various legends across multiple industries.
“Travis had been on tour all week,” our source shares, noting that the Grammy nominee played his forthcoming album for Kevin Durant and Tom Brady.
“I loved listening to and learning from @travisscott about his amazing journey as well, and couldn’t be more amazed by his incredible accomplishments, as a musician, entrepreneur, creative visionary and artist in every sense of the word (not to mention a great guy.),” Brady captioned a photo on Instagram last week.
Scott was also seen walking into the Crypto Arena where sources tell us that the rapper played the album for basketball legend LeBron James.
Durante, for his part, shared on his podcast that Scott told him “Utopia” will be “f–king insane.”
“Utopia” is expected to be released in June.
There is no word on when the Houston native’s collaboration with McEnroe will hit shelves.
