Shannon Beador has officially been charged with DUI and hit-and-run following her September arrest, TMZ reported Friday.
Both charges are misdemeanors.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star’s blood alcohol content was allegedly three times the legal limit, as law enforcement sources told the outlet she blew a .24 percent after the crash.
The Orange County District Attorney’s Office’s decision comes a little over a month after Beador, 59, was arrested for a hit-and-run while driving under the influence of alcohol.
She smashed her car into a Newport Beach, Calif., house, leaving pieces of concrete and debris spread out along the property.
Video of the incident showed the Bravolebrity driving at a high speed before making a sharp turn into the building, then backing up and driving off.
Sources told TMZ at the time that after the accident, Beador parked her vehicle in the middle of the road and was pretending to be walk her dog, Archie, when police arrived.
An eyewitness called 911, and cops took an allegedly intoxicated Beador into custody and booked her on the two misdemeanors. She was released the following morning after posting $2,500 bail.
Two days later, her pal Jeff Lewis revealed on his radio show that she was “ashamed” over what had occurred.
“I am happy to say that she is gonna be entering counseling this week, so I’m happy about that,” the “Jeff Lewis Live” host claimed at the time.
“I think that she probably has been leaning on alcohol,” he added, “but I don’t believe she’s an alcoholic.”
The “Flipping Out” alum also shared that Beador had been injured in the crash but was “recovering.”
She was later seen with facial bruising and a cast on her left arm; Archie was unharmed.
The Real for Real founder reportedly enrolled in an outpatient behavioral wellness program with an alcohol component earlier this month.
She didn’t utter a peep until last week, telling her Instagram followers in a video that she’s “not [yet] in the position to comment” on her situation.
“But there will be a time when I can, and I intend to be open, honest and authentic,” Beador explained. “Right now, I’m focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself and walking Archie.”
