Kathryn Dennis’ car was involved in an alleged hit-and-run at an elementary school.
According to People, a 2022 Ford SUV registered in the “Southern Charm” alum’s name struck a Berkeley County deputy who was directing traffic in front of Whitesville Elementary School in Moncks Corner, S.C., last Friday morning.
A South Carolina Highway Patrol spokesperson told the outlet the incident occurred around 7 a.m. local time and that the injured school resource officer received medical attention for non-life threatening injuries.
Per SCHP, the vehicle “did not stop at the scene of the collision” and was later located at Dennis’ address.
The department has not yet revealed who was driving the car, and Dennis did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
The former Bravolebrity, 32, shares two children — daughter Kensington “Kensie,” 9, and son St. Julien “Saint,” 7 — with her ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel.
In July, Dennis spoke to Pvnew about her historically contentious relationship with the disgraced ex-politician, 61, saying the two were “doing what works” for them and that things were “going well.”
“My kids are happy, and I’m confident in myself as a mom,” she told us at the time.
“I’m just gonna keep pushing forward and setting the best example I can for my kids and inspiring them as they slowly learn more and more about me.”
The mother of two announced her departure from Bravo’s “Southern Charm” in January after almost a decade on the reality show, which documented her two pregnancies, alleged substance abuse issues and subsequent custody battle with Ravenel, who was axed from the series in 2018 following a series of assault allegations.
We asked how she felt about it all after some time had passed.
“I feel like when you have a good moral compass, when you’re a good person, no matter what you go through, if you just continue to be a good person and don’t stoop to their level, you’ll come out on the other end,” she shared.
“It may not look like their end, but you’re gonna come out on top — happier and more successful.”
