Mauricio Umansky found himself in hot water after telling estranged wife Kyle Richards that he won’t “allow” her to get any more tattoos.
During Wednesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Umanksy was shocked to learn that his wife of 27 years now has a total of five tattoos.
“Seriously?” he asked in disbelief as Richards showed him all five of her markings.
“I only knew of three,” he said, to which Richards quipped back, “Well maybe you should be looking at my body closer.”
Yet instead of playing along, Umanksy’s mood immediately turned serious and he told the “RHOBH” star that she has “enough” tattoos and shouldn’t get any more.
Despite the fact that Richards told him she wants to “get another one,” the “Buying Beverly Hills” star continued to press.
“No Bean, that’s enough,” he said. “Five tattoos is a lot. I will not allow that.”
“If I want one I’m going to get one,” Richards replied. “It’s my body … you don’t have a choice.”
Although Richards claimed in a confessional the tattoo debate was simply proof the pair weren’t “spending enough time together,” several Bravo fans took to social media to slam Umansky for trying to control the mother of four.
“‘I will not allow that’ BRROOOooo,” one person tweeted, to which another replied, “As soon as mauricio said that, i let out the most unholy of loud cackles! the nerve of that philandering man is astounding. audacity has got to be on sale or clearance?”
“This is so weird,” a third simply stated.
“Mauricio has always been a shady guy. I never understood the appeal with him. He’s not even that cute,” a fourth tweeted.
“OMG if someone said ‘I will not allow that’ to me? Let’s just say it wouldn’t be pretty
