Kendall Jenner is afraid to become a mom because she fears her anxiety will be passed on to her children.
The model revealed her hesitation to have kids while chatting with Scott Disick about her struggles with handling her 3-year-old dog, Pyro, in Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians.”
“I need someone to help me with my dog,” she said. “He’s just wild. I’m having serious issues with him.”
Jenner, 27, explained to Disick, 40, that Pyro has “really bad separation anxiety.”
“I have anxiety, and I think he has anxiety,” she continued. “Maybe I’m the problem. Maybe he feels my anxiety? I could be the problem.”
When Disick asked whether Jenner has “that much anxiety,” she replied, “Yeah, I feel really bad lately.”
“It’s one of the reasons why I’m actually scared to have children,” she admitted.
The Talentless founder, 40, assured the catwalker that her anxiety is not a reason to hold back on having children but agreed that “it is scary.”
”Honestly, the scariest part for me is, am I just going to get worse throughout life?” she asked. “Because I feel like it’s worse than ever right now. The older I get, is it just going to get worse and worse?”
Disick assured Jenner that he also suffered from terrible anxiety but “got better.”
Jenner has discussed her struggles with her crippling anxiety in the past.
“I remember being really young — I’d say 8, 9, 10 — and having shortness of breath and going to my mom and telling her that,” she recalled in Vogue’s “Open Minded” series in 2021.
Jenner even shared that her emotional pain has caused physical effects, sometimes leading her to think she is “dying.”
“I think being overworked and being in the situation that I’m in now is kind of what set it out of control in a way,” she said. “I’ve had times where I feel like I need to be rushed to the hospital because I think my heart’s failing, and I can’t breathe, and I need someone to help me.”
Jenner reminded fans that she is “still a human being” despite being rich and famous.
“No matter what someone has or doesn’t have, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have real-life feelings and emotions,” she said.
Fortunately, she may have found her happy place with Bad Bunny. She and the rapper, 29, first sparked dating rumors in February, and they have continued to flaunt their love publicly on dinner dates and nights out on the town.
With Jenner already thinking about children, it seems things are quite serious with the “Where She Goes” singer.
She is the only sister in her family who doesn’t already have children.
Kourtney Kardashian has three children with ex-partner Disick and is expecting her first child with husband Travis Barker; Kim Kardashian has four kids with ex-husband Kanye West; Khloé Kardashian has two kids with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson; and Kylie Jenner has two kids with ex Travis Scott.
Meanwhile, their brother, Rob Kardashian, has a daughter with ex-fiancée Blac Chyna.
