Oops … she did it again.
Britney Spears once again deactivated her Instagram account ahead of the release of her highly anticipated memoir, “The Woman In Me.”
The book, which is due out Oct. 24, made headlines all week as bombshell teasers dropped, detailing her years as a young starlet in the public eye — including her famous relationship with Justin Timberlake.
Before ditching Instagram, the 41-year-old pop superstar expressed concern over the public’s reactions to her writing.
“I don’t like the headlines I am reading,” she tweeted Friday. “That’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!!”
She also reminded people the book has stories from decades ago and that she sees herself recounting her past experiences as a “beautiful clean slate.”
“I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!! Either way, that is the last of it and s–t happens !!!” she added.
“This is actually a book I didn’t know needed to be written … although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!” the Princess of Pop continued.
“Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly !!! I have moved on since then !!!”
One of the biggest revelations to come out of “The Woman In Me” was that she decided to get an abortion while dating Timberlake, whom she was with from 1999 to 2002.
Spears described the pregnancy as a “surprise” but only opted to terminate it when the *NSYNC singer protested becoming a father.
“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote.
“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
“I don’t know if [the abortion] was the right decision,” Spears added.
“If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
The “Toxic” hitmaker additionally claimed Timberlake, 42, cheated on her with “another celebrity” but also admitted she was no saint either, confirming the rumor that she had a fling with Australian dancer Wade Robson.
“We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” she recalled.
However, on Friday, Spears was called out by her “Everytime” co-writer, Annet Artani, who claimed her connection with Robson, also 41, was much more than what she made it out to be.
Artani told TMZ that the singer’s romance with the choreographer was so serious that she wrote him a 14-page breakup letter, which Timberlake eventually found in her makeup bag.
They split shortly after the alleged incident, with Spears claiming in her bombshell book that the “SexyBack” hitmaker broke up with her via text.
