A little “Midnight Rain” is no match for Taylor Swift’s long-lasting makeup.
The pop phenom’s Eras Tour stop in Nashville on May 7 may have gotten off to a stormy start, with bad weather delaying the show’s start for hours — but when Swift finally hit the stage, fans couldn’t believe how her signature red lip and cat eye withstood the ongoing downpour.
“this picture has convinced me Taylor needs a makeup line,” Buzzfeed tweeted Tuesday, sharing a shot of the star singing with drenched hair and a sopping-wet dress but her glam still fully intact. “like what’s the lipstick?? eyeliner?? SETTING SPRAY??”
That same day, anonymous celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi offered potential answers, sharing a source-submitted breakdown of the products Swift’s allegedly been using on the road — all from Pat McGrath Labs.
And while neither Swift nor her makeup artist have confirmed the tip, McGrath herself jumped into the comments of multiple TikTokers who shared DeuxMoi’s list, calling the singer’s apparent endorsement of her beauty brand “SO MAJOR.”
It’d make sense that the Grammy winner would turn to McGrath for her tour glam, too; the pair previously collaborated on Swift’s “Bejeweled” music video, with the legendary makeup artist even making a cameo in the Cinderella-inspired clip.
“Taylor is such a visionary and thinks about all the details,” McGrath told Pvnew Style at the time. “When she mentioned that she wanted to make a video just for the fans who like shimmer, I knew this was going to be magical.”
