She’s a shining star.
Gwen Stefani chose quite the on-the-nose outfit for her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony Thursday, wearing a metallic silver dress dripping with stars as she joined her family to celebrate receiving her very own star on the iconic street.
The “Hella Good” singer, 54, shimmered in silver sequins as she joined husband Blake Shelton, 47, and her sons Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15 and Apollo, 9 — who she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale — for her big day.
Stefani wore a look straight off the Christian Cowan spring/summer 2024 runway, although the sparkly long-sleeved style appeared to have been modified for the singer with a higher crew neck.
The sequin-covered mini featured tinsel stars covering the skirt and the bottom of the bell sleeves, and she cinched the waist with a shiny silver belt.
Stefani wore the shining look with matching slouchy silver boots and fishnet tights, wearing her blond hair pulled back in a Barbie-like curled ponytail as he posed in front of her new star.
She went simple on the accessories to let her dress shine, wearing a small pair of stud earrings and finishing off the look with her signature red lipstick.
As for the men in her life, Apollo and Zuma twinned in the same dark suit while budding musician Kingston sported a pinstriped look with a turtleneck and Shelton wore a black dress shirt with a suit.
Shelton gave a sweet speech at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, telling the crowd how her low-key nature and love for her kids drew him to the singer.
“The first time that I ever met Gwen was in 2014,” he said. “She wasn’t like any other famous person that I had ever met before. She drove herself to work in a black minivan with car seats in it.”
“And now, standing here almost 10 years later after I first met her, I can say without question that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life,” he continued. “And I got to tell you all, that’s rare in this business.”
