Her feelings are crystal clear.
Meghan Markle stepped out for a hike Sunday morning after skipping King Charles III’s coronation on Saturday — and her sparkling new necklace certainly sent a message.
Wearing a piece designed in collaboration with her friend and former “Suits” co-star Abigail Spencer, the Duchess of Sussex, 41, sported the Maya Brenner Clarity Retreat Necklace ($495) as she walked with pals Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak.
Royal biographer Omid Scobie told ITV’s “This Morning” last week that Markle was staying home in California “to protect her peace” while Prince Harry, 38, flew to London, and interestingly, her new necklace was designed for the same reason.
According to the brand, the pendant is designed “to protect your peace” and “is just the thing to help you see your way through any challenges.”
The celebrity fave jewelry label — which has been worn by everyone from Kendall Jenner to Jessica Alba — continues that the hand-cut quartz stone “is regarded as the most powerful energy amplifier on the planet!”
The diamond-accented necklace, which comes on a 14K gold chain, is also “meant to help you manifest what you want in life and let go of anything that’s not working.”
Along with the meaningful piece, Markle sported Princess Diana’s Cartier watch on her hike, wearing a casual look of black leggings and a tank top along with an old favorite J. Crew jacket, a fedora, Merrell hiking boots and Victoria Beckham sunglasses.
This isn’t the first time the mom of two has sent a message with crystal jewelry; in 2021, she sported a $1,295 lapis lazuli necklace from The Class that “aids in self-expression and revelation of one’s inner truth.”
It seems the duchess’ relationship with the royal family is one such thing “that’s not working” at the moment, following the fallout from the Sussexes’ move to America and resulting Netflix documentary and tell-all book, “Spare.”
According to Scobie, the Duchess of Sussex’s decision to stay back in California with Princess Lilibet, 1, and Prince Archie, who turned 4 on the coronation day, was down to wanting to keep the attention on the King and not draw unnecessary attention to herself.
“She is aware just how much of the spotlight goes on her when she sets even a foot near the story,” Scobie said in his ITV interview.
Meanwhile, Harry left the coronation promptly after the ceremony, skipping out on ensuing celebration, in order to return home to California with his family.
The newly minted King Charles reportedly toasted to his grandson and “those that weren’t there” at Buckingham Palace.
