Travis Kelce confessed that takes him “at least three hours” to pick a game day outfit.
“I kind of just [choose what to wear] off of instinct,” the Kansas City Chiefs player told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published Tuesday.
Kelce explained that he converted a bedroom in his home into a closet that now holds about 300 sneakers and lavish “impulse” purchases from luxury retailers Farfetch and Ssense.
That’s why sorting through his collection of designer wear can take a few hours before he heads over to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., for a home game.
“It really just goes down to the wire. I kind of enjoy the creative process of the panic to just throw something together,” he said.
The NFL star added that he chooses clothes that will “put a smile on somebody’s face.”
“Obviously, not every look is for everybody,” Kelce, 34, continued. “I’m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what it is, I’m gonna have fun with it.”
The tight end’s fashion revelation comes after he was dragged by fans who compared the brown pants he recently wore to the curtains his rumored girlfriend, Taylor Swift, used in her “Midnights” album promotion.
Earlier this month, the stylish athlete arrived at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis ahead of the Chiefs’ game against the Minnesota Vikings wearing velvet cargo pants and a white button-up.
“AWE, did Taylor make him some pants?” one person joked on Twitter.
“What if he was Taylor’s background all along,” another chimed in.
The NFL star was also trolled last month for wearing a blue and white denim fit that some believed to be inspired by Swift’s “1989” album color scheme.
“He is so ready for 1989 TV,” one fan wrote.
“He’s in the 1989 Era,” another user added.
The 12-time Grammy winner and Kelce have been going strong after rumors of their whirlwind relationship began last month.
The couple recently spent the weekend together in New York City where they were spotted holding hands for the first time while heading to dinner at Nobu.
They then headed to “Saturday Night Live” where spies told us the two were beaming “ear to ear” while on set.
During Swift’s surprise appearance, she introduced Ice Spice as the show’s musical guest.
As for Kelce, he joined comedians Pete Davidson and Kenan Thompson in making fun of his highly publicized relationship with the “Cruel Summer” singer, 33.
“Travis was a surprise. He and Taylor showed up right before we started,” a source told The Post
They then headed to an “SNL” afterparty at Catch Steak where they were spotted getting “handsy” before leaving together around 4 a.m.
“Travis and Taylor seemed to really be enjoying the night, and each other, even kissing throughout the night,” an insider exclusively told Pvnew.
“They were holding each other, and talking and kissing, in the main spot where the waiters and people had to walk by. They didn’t care or move,” another source told us.
The couple couldn’t get enough of each other as they were also photographed leaving The Waverly Inn after another romantic date the following night.
