Taylor Swift fans have a new theory about how Travis Kelce may have gotten his phone number to the pop superstar — and it involves one of her backup dancers.
Social media users were surprised to discover that one of the standout performers on Swift’s Eras Tour – Kameron “Kam” Saunders – is the older brother of Kelce’s former Kansas City Chiefs teammate Khalen Saunders.
Khalen played on the Chiefs from 2019 to 2023, and won two Super Bowls alongside the “Catching Kelce” alum, 34. The defensive tackle, 27, now plays for the New Orleans Saints.
“WHY NO ONE IS TALKING about HOW TAYLOR’S DANCER KAM SAUNDERS IS BROTHER TO KHALEN SAUNDERS THAT PLAYS WITH TRAVIS KELCE,” one fan wrote on Twitter Monday, pointing out the surprising connection.
“How much u wanna bet this is how she got travis’ number,” another fan theorized.
A third person pointed out, “I’m sure khalen was at that same show [in Kansas City] to see his brother.”
Others described Kelce as the true “mastermind” behind his blossoming romance with the “Love Story” singer, 33.
“This seems like maybe there were others working in the background to get these two together,” one social media user suggested.
“Damn talk about an invisible string,” another added, referencing Swift’s hit song about the thread of fate tying two people together.
Kam, 31, previously penned a heartwarming message before performing at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City over the summer.
“I’ve been to games at this stadium way more times than I can count to support my brother but never been on the field. Full circle!!!,” he captioned a July Instagram post.
The dancer also noted that the Eras Tour made various stops in venues where his brother had won Super Bowl rings.
“This will be the SECOND stadium we’re performing in that my baby brother has played the Super Bowl,” he wrote on Instagram before taking the stage in Tampa, Fla.
“It was always a dream of mine to dance in the halftime shows while he played. That never got to happen, BUT God made it possible for me to come back to these SAME stadiums and dance on THEE most HER-storic tour of our lifetime.”
Pvnew has reached out to Kam for comment.
Kelce and Swift’s romance has been heating up over the past month.
The pair made their first public appearance together at a Chiefs game in Kansas City, Mo., in September, before bringing their romance to the East Coast.
Most recently, the two made brief — albeit separate — cameos on “Saturday Night Live” before “getting handsy” and making out at an afterparty.
