The sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet is back.
MTV dropped the first look at Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola’s highly anticipated return to the “Jersey Shore” franchise Thursday night.
“Have you told the girls that you DM’ed me?” Giancola, 36, asks co-star Angelina Pivarnick in the preview.
Pivarnick, also 36, then responds, “No.”
The cast’s mouths collectively drop once the ladies step inside.
“Holy s—t,” says Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, while Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio exclaims, “What the f—k?!”
In an ensuing confessional, DelVecchio, 42, expresses even more shock over Giancola’s participation in MTV’s “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” reboot.
“Is this real? Are you a hologram?” he asks. “Is this AI?”
Despite her extended reality TV hiatus, Giancola seemingly wastes no time inserting herself in drama.
“Why are you being messy coming for me now?” she asks at one point, though it’s unclear who she is addressing.
In a separate scene, Giancola verbally annihilates another unidentified cast member.
“Can you let me talk?! … You talk so much! Just shut up,” she shouts before adding, “Hold on. Don’t make it messier.”
While it remains uncertain if Giancola’s presence is causing Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Deena Cortese strife, the latter two “Jersey Shore” ladies appear to lose it in future episodes.
“I don’t want to be here,” Polizzi, 35, says through tears.
Later, Cortese, 36, threatens to leave. “I need to go home,” she says, sobbing, “Give me the f—king keys. Just let me go home!”
Meanwhile, Giancola remains unbothered. “I am still the sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet,” she tells the camera.
Giancolo notably does not appear onscreen with her ex Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who also makes his return in the clip. (He previously exited the series to focus on his mental health and sobriety.)
“I feel good, bro,” Ortiz-Magro, 37, tells Sorrentino, 40.
MTV revealed in March that Giancola had joined the spinoff. Prior to her return, she had been the only “Jersey Shore” OG who was not a part of “Family Vacation,” which premiered in April 2018.
Earlier this month, a source told Pvnew that she filmed “Family Vacation” scenes with her new boyfriend, Justin May, at Italian restaurant Reggiano’s of Celebration in Kissimmee, Fla.
“Sam seemed to fit right back in with the group,” the spy told us, emphasizing that Giancola “looked really happy” with May.
She began dating the hunky fitness pro in August 2021 following her broken engagement to Christian Biscardi.
“Justin is a big part of Sam’s life, so of course she wants to let viewers in,” another insider shared. “He’s gotten along well with the cast.”
“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
