She’s coming out tonight.
Lizzo graced the Met Gala 2023 red carpet on Monday in a look that reflected her signature fashion fearlessness.
The “Rumors” singer showed off her killer curves in a hip-hugging black dress with a high slit and overlying pearl bodice designed by Chanel.
The songstress accessorized with drop pearl earrings and stacked beaded wristbands.
She kept her hair up in a messy bun to display her new blunt bangs and flawless makeup look, which was complete with a subtle smokey eye and bright blush.
Prior to arriving at fashion’s biggest night — which celebrates Karl Lagerfeld’s legacy — Lizzo posted a photo eating french fries in the elaborate outfit.
“What’s after 7? @chanelofficial,” she captioned the picture, which was taken in a dimly lit kitchen.
It looks like Lizzo came prepared this year after previously bashing fashion’s biggest night for its lack of food and “tequila.”
Last year, Lizzo’s ensemble for the first Monday in May was equally elaborate.
The flutist turned heads in a corseted black Thom Browne dress and cape that took 22,000 hours to create — including 1,200 hours for the golden embroidery alone.

Browne described it to Vogue as “one of the most beautiful things I have done for someone” and “something worthy of someone as special as Lizzo.”
The songstress even brought along her famous flute, which she played on the red carpet.
Lizzo’s first Met Gala was in 2019 when she fully embraced the camp theme in hot pink Marc Jacobs feathers and a hairstyle to match.
The musician (whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson) later wore the outlandish ensemble to the airport, filming the fashionable moment for social media.
Lizzo, 34, is famous for her daring red carpet dresses, which she’s occasionally accessorized with comically tiny purses.
