Pregnant Ireland Baldwin bamboozled her friends and followers into thinking that she gave birth to her first child with RAC in a hilarious video posted to her Instagram Sunday.
Baldwin, 27, posted a clip of her musician boyfriend carrying a baby carrier from behind while he walked toward their home as a cover of the song “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri played.
The sweet moment prompted many viewers to believe the couple had welcomed their first child together.
But the video then pans to the inside of the carrier where their adorable dachshund was resting comfortably in the seat.
Several of her famous friends expressed their confusion and were quick to call out Baldwin for trolling them with the misleading clip.
“Ok ya really got me you punk,” Hilary Duff, 35, commented on the post.
“YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME,” her cousin Alaia Baldwin, 30, wrote.
“U got me,” Hannah Berner, 31, added.
“The way I fell for this and commented congrats mama then realized and deleted my comment EMBARRASSED
