Olivia Wilde looked ethereal on the Met Gala 2023 red carpet Monday, stunning in a custom long white Chloe dress with side cutouts and a gold embellishment on the front that trailed to her turtleneck neckline.
The “House” alum accessorized with gilded wristbands and a gold clutch.
Prior to arriving at the First Monday in May soiree, the “Don’t Worry Darling” alum exited the Mark Hotel and posed for photos with “Euphoria” actress Maude Apatow, who mirrored the star’s silhouette with similar waist cut-outs.
Both were dressed to impress for “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” which is the theme for this year’s event.
Unfortunately, Editor in Chief of Vogue China Margaret Zhang had a similar idea and arrived as the fundraiser wearing the exact same dress — but in black.
Lagerfeld designed for Chloé from 1963 to 1983, and from 1992 to 1997 and Wilde’s gown was inspired by a vintage look of his creation.
Wilde, 39, is newly single following her breakup with Harry Styles in November — and she may want to avoid some of her fellow celebrity guests at the Lagerfeld-themed gala.
Styles was spotted making out with Emily Ratajkowski in Tokyo in March, and Pvnew hears the model has been “begging” for Wilde’s forgiveness ever since.
EmRata also hit the red carpet at the gala, while Styles and “DWD” star Florence Pugh, with whom the “Booksmart” director has been feuding since their time on set, are likely to attend as well.
Despite the drama, Wilde has been making plenty of waves on the red carpet lately.
In December, she showed Styles what he’s missing by showing up at the People’s Choice Awards in a see-through gown shortly after their split — a “revenge dress” done right.
She later bared her abs in a leather bra at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party afterparty in March.
The last time Wilde was in attendance at the Met ball was in 2016, when she wore a black studded Michael Kors halter dress on the “Manus x Machina” red carpet.
She also attended in 2013 and 2015, both times with ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis.
Perhaps the feuding former lovers will embrace the awkward love triangles at tonight’s gala — or not.
