There’s still hope for “Million Dollar Listing New York,” according to Ryan Serhant.
“Don’t you worry, there’s big things in the works,” the real estate broker told Pvnew exclusively at City Harvest’s 40th Anniversary Gala in New York on Tuesday.
Serhant, 38, teased that “there’s a lot going on” behind the scenes and that fans of the Bravo reality show should look at its hiatus as more of a “graduation than a pause.”
He stayed tight-lipped on the details, joking that the network’s executives would “shoot” him if he revealed anything more.
PvNew reported in July 2022 that Bravo had “paused” the series but could bring it back — similar to how “The Real Housewives of Miami” took an eight-year hiatus before returning on NBCUniversal’s streaming service, Peacock, in December 2021.
The news of “MDLNY” being put on hold came four months after longtime cast member Fredrik Eklund announced he was leaving the show.
“It’s an end of an era and a new start for me,” Eklund, 46, wrote in an Instagram post in January 2022. “I let Andy [Cohen], the Producers and the Executives know last week how grateful I am. Eternally grateful, I mean what an incredible run we had together.”
Despite no longer starring together on TV together, Serhant told us he still keeps in touch with “all” of his cast members — especially Steve Gold, whose daughter, Rose, is best friends with his daughter, Zena.
Serhant even said he is on “good enough” terms with his frenemy Eklund and frequently works with him on various deals.
“You know, we’re incredibly competitive with one another,” he explained of the group’s dynamic.
Serhant and his wife, Emilia Bechrakis Serhant, joined dozens of other New York City socialites, chefs and foodies to celebrate City Harvest’s 40th Anniversary Gala: House of Harvest.
“We’ve been involved in City Harvest since we got to New York City,” he told us. “No one should go hungry, and it’s an amazing organization run by amazing people, and I think it’s one of the best in the city.”
City Harvest has worked for four decades to rescue millions of pounds of food and deliver it to feed New Yorkers in need.
