Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna, has reportedly given Taylor Swift her stamp of approval.
“Donna likes Taylor and thinks she’s very sweet and down to earth,” a source told People in a story published Monday.
The NFL star’s mother was first spotted with the “Cruel Summer” singer on Sept. 24 as the two cheered on Kelce from a VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
The two were enthusiastic throughout the Chiefs’ winning game against the Chicago Bears, and at one point Swift could be seen yelling “Let’s f—king go!”
It’s unclear just how much time Donna has been able to spend with her son’s rumored fling since they began dating, but the two were spotted together again this past Sunday.
Donna and Swift shared a hug and some smiles at the MetLife Stadium before Swift went on to watch the game alongside pals Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, as well as newly single friends Sophie Turner and Hugh Jackman.
At one point during the game, Donna and the “Blank Space” songstress reunited inside the VIP box to share some laughs and cheers.
Following the match, Travis, 33, and Swift, also 33, departed from the stadium separately.
While the two didn’t opt to share a getaway car this time around, an insider explained to Pvnew that it’s protocol for the Chiefs to leave the city after an away game.
“After the game, [the Chiefs] will go right home with the team on the plane,” our source shared.
“Unless Travis can skip that, but likely his team is strict and will make him fly back with them.”
Despite not being able to celebrate the victory together, Travis made sure to fit in some quality time with Swift at her Tribeca apartment before the game.
The athlete was spotted leaving Swift’s lavish loft around 11 a.m. on Sunday before traveling back to the Chiefs’ hotel in Weehawken, N.J.
On Wednesday, Travis shared how thrilled he was to have Taylor in the stands during his and brother Jason’s “New Heights” podcast.
“I just thought it was awesome that everybody in the suite had nothing but good things to say about her,” Travis gushed, adding that she “looked amazing and everybody was talking about her in great light.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Grammy-winning artist are currently dominating headlines over their budding relationship.
Rumors began circulating about the two in July after Travis unsuccessfully tried to pass his number along to Swift during one of her concerts on the Eras Tour.
Just two months later, a source dished that the stars were “quietly hanging out.“
