Scheana Shay never became suspicious of Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ affair because the “Vanderpump Rules” cast has a history of sleeping with one another.
“In this friend group that is obviously incestual at times, this friend group has so much love, and when we’re drinking or whatever, everyone is just extra lovey-dovey and cuddly,” Shay said on her Dear Media podcast, “Scheananigans,” Friday.
The “Good as Gold” singer, 37, added that she and Ariana Madix — who was in a nine-year relationship with Sandoval when she found out about his dalliance with Leviss last month — “never” found the group’s dynamic “odd.”
“That’s why they were able to get away with this for so long in front of our faces,” she continued.
Shay specifically brought up one moment from last week’s episode of the Bravo reality show in which Sandoval “slapped Raquel’s ass behind [her] and Ariana’s back.”
“Oh my God, it’s so cringe, and how did we not see it?” she asked. “It was in front of our face. It was behind our back. It was right there.”
Elsewhere in that same episode, which was filmed in August 2022, Madix, 37, jokingly referred to herself, Leviss, 28, and Sandoval, 40, as a “throuple,” but she was unaware at the time that the two were having a months-long affair.

Madix broke up with Sandoval after she saw a sexually explicit video of Leviss on his phone on March 1.
The three sat down to talk about the scandal at the highly anticipated Season 10 reunion, which taped on March 23 and airs in May.
Since then, Madix has moved on and was spotted kissing personal trainer Daniel Wai on more than one occasion.
Meanwhile, Sandoval and Leviss are “taking a break” from their romantic relationship, as he ventured on a nature getaway and she is seeking “mental health and trauma therapy” at an inpatient facility.
