Travis Kelce applauded his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Chris Jones for “bumping” Taylor Swift’s music after their Sunday win against the Chicago Bears.
After Swift made an appearance at the game Sunday, Jones seemingly paid tribute to the singer via Twitter, claiming he would be “bumping taylor swift” that night following their win.
So when Jones was interviewed by Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, on their “New Heights” podcast Friday, the tight end couldn’t help but smile at the inconspicuous approval of their blossoming relationship.
After Jones confirmed he did, in fact, listen to Swift, Travis burst out in applause and exclaimed, “Hell, yeah! That’s my f–king family, baby!”
However, it’s unclear if he was referring to Jones, 29, or Swift, 33, as his family.
As fans know, the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker supported Travis, 33, by attending the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. Sunday. She was spotted cheering Travis and his teammates on from a VIP box with his mother.
The rumored couple was then caught smiling while leaving the stadium as they headed to a late-night afterparty with several of Travis’ teammates.
In a sweet photo leaked from the private shindig, Swift could be seen smiling with her arm around the football star’s neck. It was also reported that Swift took some shots with the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, at the event.
Swift was also spotted with Travis’ family and friends earlier in the day as they walked away from his Kansas City mansion ahead of the big game.
Fans were thrilled to seemingly see “sparks fly” between the pair, and they took to the internet to create a couple name for Swift and Travis. The budding relationship even had Jason, 35, talking.
“It definitely seems like he is going above and beyond to be a gentleman,” the Philadelphia Eagles center said of his younger brother during a chat on SportsRadio 94 WIP on Wednesday.
However, the father of three kept tight-lipped about whether or not Travis is single. “I wish I could tell you. I have gotten no inclination from Travis,” he claimed.
Before the global superstar and Travis made their public debut, Jason said all he knew about his brother’s love life was that he was “having fun.”
