Meghan Markle might not be joining Prince Harry for King Charles’ upcoming coronation, but she will still be included in the program.
The controversial couple are featured in one of the photos used in the official coronation souvenir program, according to photographer Chris Jackson.
The candid photograph, which was taken in 2018 during Charles’ 70th birthday celebration at Clarence Gardens, shows the entire royal family smiling and laughing while posing for their portrait.
In the snap, Queen Camilla and King Charles, 74, sat next to one another on a bench with grandkids Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7, on either side of them.
Princess Kate, 41, stood in the back holding then-baby Prince Louis, now 4, as her husband Prince William, 40, stood beside her, right next to his now-estranged brother and his wife.
Last week, Harry, 38, announced he would be attending the crowning ceremony without Markle, who chose to stay behind for their son Archie’s 4th birthday which falls on the same day.
Despite staying home to minimize drama, Markle, 41, was heavily criticized for seemingly “chickening out” of seeing Harry’s family after repeatedly bashing them in the media.
“No one in their right mind believes Hollywood Meghan Markle is passing up a chance to peacock in front of the world to blow up balloons and serve cake in the backyard,” Meghan McCain, 38, wrote of Markle in the Daily Mail.
“No matter how tone-deaf she is (and she’s pretty tone-deaf), she must be aware of how deeply unpopular she is in her husband’s home country,” she added. “She would likely be booed the second the private jet’s wheels touch down.”
Harry and Markle’s relationship with his family members soured after the pair quit their total duties in 2020, and have only worsened since then.
Harry’s upcoming trip to London will mark his first time visiting his family since he blasted them in the docuseries “Harry & Meghan” and in his tell-all memoir, “Spare.”
Harry didn’t hold anything back, claiming Charles joked that he was not Harry’s biological father, detailing a physical altercation between himself and Prince William and calling out Kate Middleton for her alleged mean girl behavior.
Now, his family members reportedly have “no interest” in interacting with Harry when they reunite on May 6.
