Drew Barrymore gave Jennifer Garner the ultimate surprise while celebrating the “Alias” star’s 51st birthday.
Garner stopped by the “Never Been Kissed” actress’ eponymous talk show Monday and was moved to tears after receiving back-to-back gifts.
“I mean, we mentioned that it’s your birthday today, but I think we need to kick it up a notch,” Barrymore told her guest.
“Let’s get a change of birthday scenery … hit it!” the daytime host continued as balloons fell from the ceiling.
“You’re bananas,” Garner, who was also presented with a plaque and a bouquet of flowers, could be heard saying over the studio audience cheering.
Barrymore, 48, then presented the “Last Thing He Told Me” star with a “very meaningful” honor from her hometown of Charleston, W.Va.
“From here on out, April 17 will be known as Jennifer Garner Day in Charleston,” the “Charlie’s Angels” star announced.
The honor shocked the “13 Going on 30” star, who became visibly emotional.
Charleston’s mayor, Amy Goodwin, then appeared in a video message, presenting Garner with a key to the city along with her own holiday thanks to her “commitment to the arts, passion for West Virginia and giving spirit.”
During the same episode, Garner donated $25,000 to Save the Children and explained how growing up surrounded by poverty taught her the importance of giving back from a young age.
“I saw a way to be helpful to our kids,” she said. “My mom grew up really poor in rural Oklahoma, and I grew up in West Virginia. … I was middle class and surrounded by generational rural poverty.
“People kept coming to me to do all these incredible things all over the world — and it all needs to happen, thank God for anyone who has a heart for philanthropy — but I was saying, ‘Who’s helping kids in America?’ This is a huge country, and most of it is rural, so those kids are suffering, and who is helping them?”
Garner shares three children — Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11 — with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
The former couple announced they were separating in June 2015 and finalized their divorce three years later.
The “Argo” actor and director went on to marry Jennifer Lopez last July, while Garner has been dating businessman John Miller on and off for five years.
