Why wear your heart on your sleeve when you could wear your mom on your shirt?
Kim Kardashian shared photos on Instagram showing her daughter North West eating a plate of chips and modeling a T-shirt with her likeness on it.
In the saucy snap, North, 9, wears a black newsboy cap, a diamond choker, and the Dolce & Gabbana top, which features a black and white image of Kim channeling Marilyn Monroe.
The Dolce & Gabbana “Ciao, Kim” Ice cream-print T-shirt ($195) is one of three shirts where Kim cosplays as the Hollywood starlet as part of her partnership with the Italian brand.
“Like the great divas of the past, she wears second-skin dresses made of lace,” the design house explains.
The reference is appropriate as Kim appeared at the 2022 Met Gala in the very same glamorous “naked” gown that Monroe herself wore in 1962 to serenade John F. Kennedy with “Happy Birthday, Mr. President,” bleaching her hair platinum blond to commit to the look just a few months before the “Ciao Kim” collection was released.
North looks serious as she snacks on chips and sips on a Shirley Temple in a red leather booth at a restaurant.
The “Kardashians” star captioned the snaps “Poetic Justice,” referencing the 1993 Janet Jackson film where the singer wears a similar cap and long braids.
Her aunt Khloé Kardashian called her “the coolest kid in town.”
One follower approved with, “she is always a mood i love her lol” and another described her as “so iconic like her parents.”
Besides posing for her mom in designer duds, the tween certainly had a busy weekend.
North joined Katy Perry on stage during her Las Vegas performance on Saturday to participate in a “walk off competition.”
While onstage, Perry told North she’s a “huge fan” of the tiny star and asked what the eldest West child wants to be when she grows up. In typical fashion, North responded, “Everything.”
Clearly she’s already on her way.
