Jennifer Aniston cooked up the sweetest surprise for Brad Pitt’s 40th birthday.
Twenty years after the actor’s December 2003 celebration, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver told “Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie” listeners about Aniston’s thoughtful gift for her then-husband.
“I actually was Brad Pitt’s 40th birthday present from Jen,” the 49-year-old quipped on the radio show Wednesday.

Oliver recalled the “Friends” alum, 55, calling him to ask, “Would you cook for Brad? He’s well into ‘The Naked Chef’ and all that business, like, he watches it on TV and all that.”
The restaurateur replied, “Absolutely. And I’ll do it for love, because I love you guys.”
Oliver, who was “flown out” for the special occasion, joked that Aniston had a hard time getting ahold of him.
“She phoned up, and we put the phone down on her three times because we didn’t believe it was her,” he explained. “We thought it was someone trying it on. So she had to go through her agent to my agent, but I didn’t really have an agent, so it took a bit of a while.”
Oliver noted that he doesn’t “purposefully cook for celebrities” — but made an exception for the “beautiful” couple.
His wife, Juliette Norton, detailed the experience to Red magazine in 2014, revealing that Courteney Cox attended Pitt’s party.
“Jamie was doing the dinner, so I had to sit and socialize,” the “embarrassed” 49-year-old said. “I didn’t know what to say. Brad had just done ‘Troy’ and was taking his top off to show me his abs.”
Pitt, 60, and Aniston were married from 2000 to 2005, going on to wed — and divorce — Angelina Jolie and Justin Theroux, respectively.
The exes have remained amicable over the years, most recently reuniting virtually in September 2020 for a “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” table read.
Earlier that same year, the duo went viral for hugging backstage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Aniston called her marriages to Pitt and Theroux, 52, “very successful” in a 2018 Elle interview.
“When they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore,” the “Morning Show” star said at the time.
She has yet to go public with a new romance since finalizing her divorce from Theroux in October 2018 after three years of marriage.
Aniston and the “Leftovers” star still regularly communicate, he confirmed to Esquire in April 2021.
As for Pitt, who continues to hash out his and Jolie’s divorce in court, has been dating Ines de Ramon since 2022.
