Jamie Foxx was seen on the set of his scandal-plagued movie with Cameron Diaz just one day before he was rushed to the hospital for a medical complication.
Foxx, 55, looked active and well while filming his upcoming movie “Back in Action” in Atlanta on Monday, according to photos obtained by Pvnew.
The “Django Unchained” star was snapped on a soccer field with a group of girls dressed in kneepads and matching soccer uniforms as the cameras rolled.
Foxx was dressed in character, rocking a red Nike jacket over a black T-shirt and black pants. He also wore a whistle around his neck.
Meanwhile, his co-star Diaz, 50, was seen cheering on the sidelines on set that same day, according to photos obtained by People.
Foxx’s appearance on set came just one day before he was hospitalized over unknown health concerns.
The “Ray” alum’s daughter, Corinne, revealed that her dad is in “recovery” after suffering a medical complication on Tuesday but that he was already on the road to recovery.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the 29-year-old shared in a statement on Instagram from the Foxx family on Wednesday. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
The family’s statement continued, “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Family and friends who are close to him are asking fans to pray for him.
What are his family and friends saying?
Corinne Foxx, Jamie’s daughter, wrote, “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” in an Instagram story.

Corinne will not be in the new season as she will be staying by her father’s side at the hospital.

Sources told TMZ that Foxx was taken to a hospital where he received medical attention. The insiders furthered that Foxx’s condition was “serious enough” that his family members traveled into town.
“He’s communicating now, and that’s good news,” one of the website’s sources shared.
Foxx’s health troubles come weeks after he returned to the movie set following an alleged meltdown.
Last month, sources told the Daily Mail that Foxx allegedly had a full-blown tantrum on set, which led to him firing an executive producer, two directors, and his driver.
Simultaneously, insiders claimed that Diaz was planning on re-retiring from her acting career following Foxx’s antics, though her reasoning is more to do with her wanting more time with her 3-year-old daughter Raddix.
“When you are in a position of authority, sometimes you have to make decisions to let people go who do not share the same vision as you,” a source told the Daily Mail, adding that it would be “incredibly surprised if it caused any tension between Jamie and Cameron.”
The source added, “Cameron is a businessperson and understands that this is necessary at times and, honestly, Jamie is the only reason that she is doing this film and they are still very close.”
The actor’s alleged meltdown isn’t the only drama hitting the set of the Seth Gordon-directed flick.
The Sun reported that Foxx was the target of a $40,000 scam. The ordeal apparently halted production on the “nightmare” film set as authorities investigated.
“It sounds as though they tried to offer up a Rolex watch as part of the deal,” an insider told The Sun, claiming, “People will be glad when this thing finally wraps.”
