Ken, you are the father!
Gypsy Rose Blanchard confirmed that Ken Urker is the father of her unborn baby, despite her recent separation from husband Ryan Anderson.
“It was mid March when I left Ryan. So, this is absolutely 100 percent Ken’s baby. There was never any question of paternity,” she said in a “Good Morning America” interview on Friday.
She echoed the same comments she had made on social media when asked by a netizen if she was sure the baby belonged to Urker.
“Left Ryan March 23rd had a period April 17th, made love with Ken and only him April 27, 28, 29, 30 and conceived on May 4th positive test on May 24th. KEN IS THE FATHER,” she candidly told them.

Blanchard –– who announced she was expecting her first child on Tuesday –– explained to “GMA” that she’s more focused on her pregnancy than her ex.
“I’m hoping that [Anderson] is OK emotionally, and I wish him the best emotionally. But right now, I have not even had a moment to stop and think about anybody else except for, ‘Am I taking my prenatals in the morning? Am I drinking enough water?’ Like, I have so much to focus on, making sure that I’m healthy for this baby,” she shared.
The 32-year-old and Anderson tied the knot in July 2022 while the former was serving an eight-year sentence for her role in her mom’s death.
However, in March, she announced via Facebook that they had separated. She filed for divorce on April 8.
Shortly after revealing the breakup, Blanchard rekindled her relationship with Urker –– whom she was previously engaged to from 2018 to 2019. They were photographed holding hands and getting matching tattoos.
In 2015, Gypsy Rose was convicted of second-degree murder for helping plan the death of her mom, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, who suffered from Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. She was released from prison in December 2023.
During the interview, the “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up” star also took the opportunity to address concerns over her being a mother given how Dee Dee treated her when she was younger.
“I understand that with my past, there’s gonna be a lot of people that kind of question if I even should be a mother or even have children in my care. I know that I’m not perfect. I know that I have made mistakes in the past. And I will probably make minor mistakes going forward. But at the same time, I do know right from wrong. And learning from past mistakes is a growth that comes with time,” she continued.
Gypsy Rose explained that her traumatic upbringing motivates her to provide for her child so they can “have all of the things that he or she could ever want in life.”
The “Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard” star expressed a similar sentiment in an interview with People on Wednesday.
“I want to be kind, that my kids come to me for any kind of advice, just like my stepmother,” she said, referring to her dad Rod Blanchard’s wife, Kristy Blanchard.
Gypsy Rose said her stepmother is “supportive and not overbearing” and “lets her kids find their dreams.”
“All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby. My mother told me I was never going to get married, raise a family, have kids or do any of that,” she continued telling the outlet.
Gypsy Rose reiterated that she “learned from the experience of the trauma of everything not to do.”
“So, to be here, standing on my own two feet and expecting my first baby, that’s something I’ve reached as an achievement and a personal goal. I thank God every day that I am now having this second chance at life with a kid of my own,” she explained.
Gypsy Rose has not revealed the sex of her baby, but she is due in January 2025.
