Ivanka Trump sent a heartwarming message to her father, Donald Trump, after he was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in a monumental trial in Manhattan federal court Thursday.
“I love you dad,” the socialite, 42, wrote via her Instagram Story alongside a throwback photo of the former president, 77, carrying her when she was a child.
The gesture comes after Page Six exclusively reported last month that Ivanka had no plans to make any in-person appearances at the highly publicized trial.

“I’m told Ivanka has spoken to her father over the last few days and remains as supportive as ever,” an insider told us in April.
However, the source also noted at the time that the “hush money” case was “embarrassing for all the Trump women,” particularly because it discussed Donald’s alleged one-night stand with Stormy Daniels.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office had accused Donald of illegally trying to cover up a $130,000 payment to the ex-porn star in an effort to hide sex scandals threatening his 2016 presidential campaign.
Daniels, 45, took the stand earlier this month and revealed some of the lewd details of her purported fling with the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, including once spanking him with a magazine.
“I said turn around, and I swatted him right on the butt,” she told jurors. “And he was much more polite.”
Aside from Ivanka, Donald’s wife, Melania Trump, also had not been seen attending any hearings.
However, Page Six exclusively learned Friday that the former first lady, 42, and the couple’s son, Barron Trump, 18, were gathered at Trump Tower, where the mood felt “gloomy.”
“It’s like a funeral. … There was hope all day and then none!” a source said.
“Everyone says Melania and the entire family are rallying around the former president. But the mood is nonetheless gloomy and gloomier right now. It’s definitely viewed as a downer at Mar-a-Lago.”
Prior to the jury’s unanimous decision, we also learned that Melania had been feeling good about hitting the campaign trail again with her husband and was looking forward to potentially becoming first lady again.
Ivanka, for her part, has long made it known she has no interest in political pursuits for the time being.
The former first daughter, who served as her dad’s senior adviser during his presidency, said in November 2022, “I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”
In addition to Ivanka and Barron, Donald has three other children: Donald Trump Jr., 46, Eric Trump, 40, and Tiffany Trump, 30.
