Lenny Kravitz hasn’t been intimate in nearly a decade.
The “Fly Away” singer, 60, revealed in a new interview that he wants to remain celibate until he is in a serious relationship — his last one being nine years ago.
“It’s a spiritual thing,” he told the Guardian Thursday before acknowledging that he might not ever find that stability.

“I have become very set in my ways,” he explained, “in the way I live.”
Kravitz was famously married to “The Cosby Show” alum Lisa Bonet from 1987 to 1993.
The former couple, who remain close friends, welcomed daughter Zoë Kravitz in 1988.
Lenny later dated Vanessa Paradis and was engaged to both Adriana Lima and Nicole Kidman.
The “American Woman” rocker’s childhood may have something to do with him practicing abstinence.
In his 2020 memoir, “Let Love Rule,” Lenny revealed he confronted his father, Sy Kravitz, over cheating on his mother, Roxie Roker.
The musician recalled Sy telling him he would end up doing the same thing, and for a while Lenny seemed to fulfill his dad’s prophecy.
“After the marriage, I became more like him. I was becoming a player,” he confessed in the book. “I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to be that guy. So I had to tackle that and it took years.”
Lenny shared that he overcame his caddish tendencies by “taking responsibility” and not letting his “desires take over.”
In his Guardian profile, the Grammy winner also shared the secret to his famed six-pack.
“It’s a combination of genes, self-care, hard work and discipline,” he told the British newspaper, noting that he does not eat junk food and religiously goes to the gym — even if it’s at 2 a.m.
Notably, Lenny recently went viral for a video of him working out in a public gym clad in leather pants, a mesh tank top, dark sunglasses and combat boots.
Zoë, 35, poked fun at her father’s adventurous fashion sense during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in March.
“I’ve seen your incredible dedication to your art, but mostly, I’ve seen through your shirts,” she teased. “According to my dad, if it doesn’t expose your nipples, it’s not a shirt.”
Kravitz’s new album, “Blue Electric Light,” was released last week. It’s only his 12th in 35 years.
