This “something old” is as sweet as it gets.
Ahead of Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding to Travis Barker in Italy last year, Kris Jenner gave her daughter the ring she received from late husband Robert Kardashian when the pair married in 1978.
In the premiere of Hulu’s “‘Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney & Travis” special on Thursday, the newlyweds gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at what went into their lavish May nuptials in Portofino.
The night before the Poosh founder said “I do,” her mother surprised her with the special band that Robert, who passed away from esophageal cancer in 2003, slipped onto her finger years ago.
“When my dad died, I remember thinking, like, ‘I never wanna get married because my dad isn’t there to walk me down the aisle,’ so that gift meant so much,” Kourtney said in the special.
“It was amazing,” Travis added.
This isn’t the first time Kourtney’s dad has been involved from beyond.
Travis visited the late lawyer’s grave before he asked his daughter to marry him in October 2021.
In an early episode of “The Kardashians,” Kris told daughter Kim that the Blink-182 drummer asked the momager for “her hand in marriage,” and also “went to your dad’s grave and asked your dad.”
“I just lost it,” Kris said.
The reality star, 43, and the rocker, 47, got married three different times.
First they wed in Las Vegas with a ceremony so wild, the bride wound up puking and losing her prized leather jacket.
Since the Sin City wedding wasn’t legally binding, the couple followed it up with a Santa Barbara court ceremony and, finally, their star-studded Portofino party — the latter hosted by Dolce & Gabbana, which dressed not only the bride and groom, but also the entire Kardashian-Jenner family for the occasion.
