Brittany Cartwright is hinting that deeper marital issues at home contributed to her split from estranged husband Jax Taylor — after the latter was seen stepping out with model Paige Woolen.
Cartwright, 35, took to her Instagram Story on Sunday to share a Reel posted by @YouKnowNat, in which the influencer’s friend lambasts Taylor, 44, for the way he treats his spouse on their Bravo reality show “The Valley.”
“Thank you, & just imagine what I’ve been through behind closed doors,” Cartwright wrote alongside the clip.
The individual in the clip was particularly perturbed by Taylor railing into Cartwright for being sick during a cast trip to Big Bear, Calif., on last week’s episode of the unscripted series.

The Jax’s Studio City owner blamed her nausea on excessive drinking — and implied that she had a longstanding problem with alcohol — though several of her castmates verified that she hadn’t imbibed prior to vomiting.
“Like, this is his show that’s supposed to be about his bar and his community and his friends and he brought his family onto this show and this is what he’s doing to her? Like, he’s choosing to present her in that kind of light and to treat her like that,” the person said in the video.
“This is what he’s doing to her in front of everybody.”
Cartwright eventually snapped at Taylor, chastising him for verbally attacking her in front of the group, but the duo made up the next day.
The person in the @YouKnowNat Reel theorized that Taylor brought Cartwright onto the show knowing their relationship would soon end.
“To put her on this show and treat her like this, he knew he was going to leave her, he knew it was over and he knew it would be good TV and that he wouldn’t get punished by the people around him, aka producers, at all,” she said.
“If it’s good TV, it flies. What a terrible position for her to be in. Of course she’s not feeling good.”
Meanwhile, the person in the clip surmised that Cartwright’s bouts of illness stem from the stress of her relationship with Taylor.
“I think she’s sick all the time because she’s treated so terribly and she’s in a bad relationship and that she knows there’s nothing she can do to make it any better,” she said.
Cartwright’s co-sign of the message comes as a romance seems to be brewing between the “Vanderpump Rules” OG and onlyFans creator Woolen, 32. The pair were seen grabbing lunch at Granville Cafe in Los Angeles on Saturday, where they spent three hours together.
Cartwright and Taylor — who share 2-year-old son, Cruz — announced their separation in February after five years of marriage.
The mom of one — who isn’t known to be dating anyone at the moment — revealed during an April appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that a “horrible fight” prompted her to call it quits with Taylor.
“It was like a veil was lifted, and I noticed everything wrong,” she said. “They always say a woman can hit her breaking point, and it’s hard to come back from that.”
One month prior, Cartwright exclusively told Page Six that Taylor’s lack of interest in sex didn’t help matters.
“We’ve been together nine years, and people stop appreciating and take you for granted after some time — and that should never happen in a marriage,” she explained at the time.
“The Valley” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
