Jennifer Aydin and her family witnessed a terrifying moment over the weekend when a huge crowd of people dispersed all over a boardwalk in Seaside Heights, NJ, amid fears of a mass shooter on the loose.

“This was the mayhem on the boardwalk yesterday,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 47, captioned a clip of the incident via Instagram Sunday.

“We’re still unsure of what happened. But everyone in our camp is safe. If anyone knows what happened leave it in the comments.”

In the video she posted, sirens could be heard blaring as her children sound worried in the background.

Although Aydin was unsure of what occurred at the time, she was not alone as NJ reported Sunday that there had been a lot of confusion among several other beachgoers who were present.

Per the local outlet, crowds “ran from the boards, racing down the exit ramps onto the streets in a panic, as officers raced to the oceanfront on foot and in cars, guns drawn and trying to find gunmen or victims.”

Police detective Steve Korman told NJ, however, that officers never found any proof that someone had actually shot a gun or that anyone had been hurt.

It’s unclear what set off the chaos but videos posted on social media captured people running in all directions as officers with massive guns patrolled the situation.

Less than an hour and a half drive from where Aydin and her relatives reside — which Page Six confirmed via real estate records — an actual stabbing took place in Ocean City, NJ.

Per The New York Post, a 15-year-old was attacked with a knife by an unknown male suspect at the Ocean City boardwalk. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

After Aydin shared her post, people on social media called out the Bravolebrity for buying a property in Seaside Heights, which first became prominent for being the filming location of the “Jersey Shore” cast.

“Can’t believe you actually bought there.. I’m sorry, but what were you thinking?,” one critic wrote.

Another added, “Seaside Heights used to be such a great family place. Now it’s a f–king cesspool. Why anyone sits in hours of traffic for this s–t is beyond me.”

Aydin has not responded to the remarks but shared on Sunday via her Instagram Stories that she and her family decided to “stay in” after all the madness.

The mother of five concluded, “The kids were a little upset. We had like an at-home slumber party.”
