Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s daughter, Ella, is following in her parents’ footsteps.
The 22-year-old graduated from the Juilliard School in New York City on Friday with a bachelor’s degree in acting.
She honored her accomplishment with a celebratory Instagram slideshow the following day.

“YOU WOULDN’T LAST AN HOUR IN THE ASYLUM (@juilliardschool) WHERE THEY RAISED ME (No, like, really),” Ella captioned the carousel, quoting Taylor Swift’s “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me.”
She continued, “Yesterday I got my BFA in Acting from Juilliard. I couldn’t be happier to be done or prouder to have survived or more grateful to my family for the unwavering support that got me there and through.
“I have a degree in playing pretend!!!” the graduate concluded. “Yay!!!”
Her social media upload included multiple photos in her cap and gown as she clutched her diploma, posed with friends and walked with her dad.
Stiller, 58, and Taylor, 52, are also the parents of 18-year-old son Quinlin.
The couple have been married since 2000. Although the “Zoolander” co-stars separated in 2017, they reconciled during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re happy,” Stiller told Esquire in a February 2022 interview. “I think we have a respect for the ways that we’re similar and the ways we’re different.”
At the time, the actor also admitted to Ella calling him out over “not being there” during her and her brother’s childhood.
He explained, “What I’ve learned is that your kids are not keeping score on your career. … They just want a parent who’s emotionally present and supportive of them.”
The comedian called his eldest child’s words “hard to hear” but “important to acknowledge.”
During his and Taylor’s time apart, the actress spoke to Us Weekly about Ella’s career goals since coming “out of the womb with a mission.”
The “Arrested Development” alum said, “She is a very strong-minded, strong-willed young lady, and she loves [acting]. She has the bug.”
