Kate Middleton does not have plans to make any public appearances for the remainder of the year as she continues to battle cancer, according to a new report.
“Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance,” a royal source explained to the Daily Beast Friday.
“I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year.”

An alleged friend of the Princess of Wales and her husband, Prince William, also told the outlet why Middleton is prioritizing her mental health above all during this time.
“The key thing for her now is avoiding any kind of stress or anxiety and just getting on with the business of getting better,” the insider added.
“They will bail out and be off to Sandringham the moment school breaks up.”
Middleton will reportedly spend time with her kids and relatives in Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England.
Parents whose kids also go to the same school as Middleton’s kids told the Daily Beast that they have not seen the mother of three attend any sports matches or school events in recent months.
However, there have reportedly been rumblings that the princess snuck in a few drop-offs in the mornings.
“There have been rumors she has done drop-off, but I haven’t seen her since the video,” a parent said.
“We all feel very protective of her. Ask anyone at the school — they are amazing parents.”
A courtier confirmed to the publication that Middleton is “continuing her recovery at home,” adding, “She continues to need the space and time to prioritize her privacy, as she said in her video.”
A separate source shared that they would not be surprised if the princess gave her fans another digital update at some point.

“I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health,” an insider said. “That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay.”
Page Six has reached out to reps for Middleton, 42, and William, 41, but did not immediately hear back.
The last time the beloved future queen consort addressed the public was on March 22 when she said in a heartfelt video, “William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.
” … We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.”
Middleton did not disclose what kind of cancer she has but shared at the time that she was undergoing chemotherapy and that the deadly disease was still in its “early stages.”
Prior to that announcement, the princess had only been seen in public twice in 2024.
The first sighting was on March 4 when she was spotted sitting in the passenger seat of a black Audi SUV while her mom, Carole Middleton, drove near Windsor Castle.
She was then seen almost two weeks later smiling while at a farmer’s market with William on March 16.
Middleton’s last official public appearance was in December 2023 for a Christmas Day church service.
The scarce appearances sparked a host of conspiracy theories that were clearly debunked after her health issues were revealed and reportedly upset William a great deal.
The Prince of Wales, for his part, has resumed his royal duties while his wife continues treatment.
