Lindsay Hubbard’s new mystery boyfriend is actually an old flame whom she dated before ex-fiancé Carl Radke.
The “Summer House” star revealed their past on Tuesday’s episode of the “Bitch Bible” podcast, explaining that they first dated in the winter of 2020.
“He’s wonderful. I actually met him and went out with him three-and-a-half years ago,” she explained. “Some of my friends call it a boomerang where you go out the first time, the timing wasn’t right, and then they come back around, so that’s basically what happened.”

She further explained, “We met and we hit it off, went on some dates. He was trying to figure out his career moves, and it was just bad timing for him. It was also just the holidays, bad timing for me. I was in a weird place at that time, and so he broke things off with me.”
Hubbard, 37, recalled that he broke up with her in “such a respectful way,” calling it the “nicest text ever.”
“Back then, he was like, ‘Hey, I’m not in a place where I can be in anything serious.’ He’s like, ‘I get the sense that maybe you want something more, and I’m not there right now, and I don’t want to waste your time and out of respect for you, I felt like I needed to tell you that.’ I was like ‘Oh my God,’ you can’t even be mad at it,” she spilled.
The two reconnected when he reached out again in December 2023 — four months after Radke, 39, publicly ended their engagement.
“First of all, I put him on ice for a month. He reached out in mid-December, and I was like, ‘Hm, he made me wait three years, I’m gonna make him wait a month.’ So I reached back out in January, and I was like, ‘Alright, coffee.’ We wound up at lunch, and it felt like that lunch we went on was almost like catching up on the last three years of our lives,” she gushed.
Hubbard added that her beau has “never watched” the hit Bravo show, and described it as “refreshing” to date someone who is “unfazed” by her being a reality TV star.
“He doesn’t care about it, and he’s successful in his own field and has a great job, works very hard, is extremely driven and ambitious and keeps me happy in the bedroom,” she said.
The Bravolebrity has yet to share the identity of her new boyfriend. However, she did bring him to a destination wedding –– where Radke was also present –– in April.
Meanwhile, Radke said that he “[hopes] he treats her well” and “[hopes] she’s happy” on a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
Radke broke up with Hubbard in August 2023, and the cracks in their relationship have since played out in the current season of “Summer House.”
Among their fights, the former couple got into a few heated arguments over his career and other communication issues.
“Summer House” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and streams the next day on Peacock.
