Kelly Rowland looked nervous as she walked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.
One day prior to the “Coffee” singer’s latest appearance at the festival — where she wore an elegant one shoulder gown and a statement silver diamond necklace for the premiere of “The Count of Monte Cristo” — she publicly scolded a female staffer on the steps of the venue just before walking inside the “Marcello Mio” premiere.
Following the incident, a lip reader revealed to Page Six what the former Destiny’s Child member told the security guard.

Kelly Rowland appears to scold security guard at Cannes Film Festival
“Don’t talk to me like that. Don’t talk to me like that,” Rowland repeated, expert Jeremy Freeman told Page Six.
“You’re not my mother. I told you not to talk to me like that.”
It remains unclear what the guard told the singer in response to the reprimanding she received, but the tense conversation didn’t stop there.
Rowland then turned to face the female staffer one last time and told her, “You still don’t talk to me like that.”
According to the Daily Mail, a source claimed the altercation started due to the guards being “aggressive and Kelly was trying to ignore it.”
But Rowland wound up not caring about whether she came off as a “diva.”
“By the time [Rowland] got to the last woman, she had had it because she scolded Kelly and told her to move when she was trying to wave to fans and help the paparazzi get their shot,” the insider told the outlet.
This new scandal comes just months after Rowland walked off the “Today Show” due to a subpar dressing room in February.
Rowland was supposed to co-host an hour of the morning news show, but after she left, Rita Ora took her place.
Hoda Kotb addressed the incident later that month saying the ordeal left her “bummed.”
