Kailyn Lowry’s plan to undergo breast augmentation has been derailed as doctors warned her she is too overweight to safely have the surgery.
The “Teen Mom 2” alum, 32, recalled the “humbling” conversations she has had with multiple plastic surgeons who each advised her to lose weight.
“I want to get a boob job, right? I call around. I’m making these consultations to get a boob job. You know what they told me? They told me I need to lose 40 pounds,” she shared in Friday’s episode of her “Barely Famous” podcast.
“So 40 or 50 pounds, more like 50 but maybe get away with 40 pounds, before they can even operate on me.

Lowry, who was seeking a breast reduction, recalled “sobbing” on the phone with a doctor’s office trying to figure out if she should even schedule a consultation and figure out a budget for the surgeries.
“I’ve been wanting to do this breast reduction, implants, lift, whatever it is,” the reality star shared. “I don’t even know if I can get my double chin done.
“Truthfully, I’d want to do that at the same time as my boob job because why would I pay for anesthesia twice?”
The mom of seven advised her listeners looking to go under the knife to be in the right “headspace” before calling prospective surgeons.
“If you’re not, you will be humbled by the fact that they may not be able to operate on you,” she warned.
Lowry shared in January that she wanted to use Ozempic to lose weight following the birth of her twins, Verse and Valley, that month. She had already undergone one “mommy makeover” in 2016 but getting pregnant again made her lose her results.
“Yeah, it was the best decision I ever made. The worst decision I ever made was not waiting until I was done having kids,” she confessed.
The former MTV personality documented her journey to motherhood on Season 2 of “16 and Pregnant” in 2010. She welcomed her eldest son, Isaac, now 14, with Jo Rivera that January.
Lowry then gave birth to son Lincoln, 10, with Javi Marroquin in 2013; sons Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with Chris Lopez, in 2017 and 2020, respectively; and son Rio, 1, with Elijah Scott, who is also the father of her twins, in 2022.
