Even Spears’ own friends are not fans of Paul Richard Soliz, telling Page Six exclusively in May 2024 that he is “bad news” and “extremely dangerous.”

Where is he from and how old is he?
Soliz is based in California, where Spears also resides full-time. His birthday is May 13, 1986, and he is 37 years old.
What does he do for a living?
Soliz was hired in 2022 to work for Spears in a housekeeper-like role, performing menial tasks around her mega-mansion in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
A source previously told Page Six that his job was to “clean toilets, mop floors and pick up trash.” He was fired sometime in 2023 after his criminal past was exposed.
However, Soliz claimed to paparazzi in September 2023 that he now “owns [his] own business” as a licensed contractor.
Does he have a criminal record?
Soliz has been charged with multiple misdemeanors and at least one felony. Court records obtained by Page Six showed that he was convicted of one count of disturbing the peace in 2014 and charged with child endangerment that same year, but it was dismissed due to a plea negotiation.
In 2016, he was convicted of driving without a license, and a separate charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed due to a plea negotiation.
Most recently, he was convicted of felony possession of a firearm in December 2022 due to a charge stemming from a 2019 incident. He was in court in September 2023 for an alleged probation violation in relation to that charge.
Soliz and Spears got into a heated argument at the Chateau Marmont in May 2024, prompting an ambulance to respond. While authorities were not called to the incident, insiders told Page Six that the pop star’s friends were “concerned” for her well-being around her beau.
Is he dating Spears?
The pop superstar was first spotted in LA with Soliz amid her divorce from Sam Asghari.
Page Six can confirm that he has been romantically involved with her at some point. However, sources have made conflicting claims about whether the two are still seeing each other.
One insider claimed in September 2023 that Spears and Soliz were still an item, while another claimed they were “not dating” and had stopped hanging out when she got back from a trip to Mexico.
A separate source told the Daily Mail that the Grammy winner and her former staffer had a “short fling” but were “no longer” in communication.

While Soliz has not yet confirmed himself whether he and Spears are a couple, the contractor raved about the Princess of Pop in an interview with paparazzi.
