Phaedra Parks recently wrapped up her nationwide drag brunch tour — and picked up a few beauty tips along the way.
Despite being a self-proclaimed “glam girl,” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum tells Page Six Style she had a full-blown “makeup emergency” before a recent performance at Rocco’s WeHo with A’Keria Chanel Davenport, and that the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star stepped in to save the day.
“She actually ended up doing my makeup because my face was so dehydrated from flying because I had been in so many different cities,” says Parks, who recently appeared on the series premiere of E!’s “OMG Fashun.”
“I was just freaking out because my makeup was not really adhering to my face,” she continues, adding that she was “ready to cry” at the thought of disappointing a crowd full of LGBTQIA+ fans — her biggest supporters.
After Davenport lent her services, Parks, 50, says she “never felt more beautiful.”
“She really showed me a lot, especially about when your face is dehydrated from flying so much,” she says, noting that Davenport emphasized the importance of applying moisturizer before concealer for a “dewy, glowy” look.

“She literally showed me moisturizing techniques, a different way to apply concealer that I had never thought about,” the “Married to Medicine” star shares. “She is brilliant.”
Parks says Davenport also stressed the importance of contouring, as it can transform one’s face — or body — in a matter of minutes.
“With contouring, they know how to snatch that nose, snatch that face and make that cleavage cleave!” she enthuses.
Parks’ drag brunch tour concluded on April 27 in Chicago, but she hopes to embark on a second leg soon.
“Everyone’s like, ‘You’ve got to do it again, you’ve got to do it in Atlanta.’ So I am trying to definitely figure out how to do a reboot of it and just make it even more fabulous,” she tells us.
“Most every show sold out and I had so much fun in every city — but in particular, of course honey, LA came out to play.”
Until more dates are scheduled, the attorney, mortician and reiki healer is relishing in the experience of filming “OMG Fashun” with host Julia Fox.
“I have always been a big fan,” she says of the fashionably fearless “Uncut Gems” actress. “In the fashion world, she’s definitely a disrupter. She takes chances like nobody else in the business. So for her to even know who I am and to obviously say, ‘Wow, I would love you to be a guest judge,’ was unbelievable.”
“OMG Fashun” airs with back-to-back episodes Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on E!
