All’s fair in love and comedy.
Gisele Bündchen may be “disappointed” she was the butt of the jokes throughout much of Tom Brady’s Netflix roast, but sources tell Page Six exclusively she “needs to get a sense of humor.”
“Everything was all in good fun,” an insider tells Page Six exclusively on Wednesday. “Gisele needs to get a sense of humor.”
We’re told Brady, 46, had no prior knowledge of what would be said on the live special, however, his kids were “always off limits.”
“Just like with any roast neither Tom, nor any of the participants knew what was going to be said about them,” the insider says. “But as with any roast they target public parts of your life.”

Page Six exclusively reported Tuesday that Bündchen, 43, felt hurt all over again by her ex-husband because he “once again put football before his family.”
Some of the jabs made at the supermodel’s expense during Sunday’s show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles included when Kevin Hart joked she had been having an affair with her jiu-jitsu instructor-turned-boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, behind Brady’s back.
“You sometimes got to f–k your coach. You know who else f–ked their coach? Gisele. She f–ked that karate man,” the comedian quipped, causing the audience to erupt into laughter, shock and cheers.
A production source for the roast tells Page Six exclusively, however, ”If Gisele wanted to keep her relationship private, she shouldn’t have been making out with her jiu-jiu instructor in the middle of the street,” referencing when Bündchen and Valente were spotted locking lips in Miami in February.
“She showed more than just her cards that Valentine’s day,” the source says, adding “it’s fair game” for the former Victoria’s Secret Angel’s romance to be talked about on the roast.
Bündchen — who divorced Brady in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage and two children together — has been seen spending time with Valente since just weeks after her split.
However, there has been some discrepancy about when the pair officially began dating with the “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life” author insisting that she never cheated on her sports star ex.
Bündchen wasn’t the only one of Brady’s exes to receive some blowback on the comedy special though.
Comedian Nikki Glaser joked on “The Roast of Tom Brady,” “Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long, you retired then came back then retired, I get it.
“It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend,” referencing when the NFL legend broke up with Bridget Moynahan when she was still pregnant with their son, Jack, in 2006.
While it’s unclear whether the “Coyote Ugly” actress, 53, is as upset as Bündchen about the jokes, she posted a cryptic quote on Instagram earlier this week that read, “Loyal people take s–t more personal because they never would’ve did that s–t to you.”
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian — who was rumored to have dated Brady and participated in the live special — was also targeted when the retired quarterback joked she was “terrified” to be there because her four kids were at home with their dad, Kanye West.
However, the “Kardashians” star, 43, appeared to take the quip in jest and a source also told Page Six exclusively Wednesday she handled it all “with such grace” and stayed until the very end of the taping.
Reps for Bündchen and Brady did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
