Nikki Glaser was not expecting Tom Brady to poke fun at Kim Kardashian during his own roast.
The comedian told “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” viewers that she assumed jokes about the reality star were “off-limits” in Sunday’s Netflix special — until the guest of honor’s jab about Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West.
“[It was] one of the moments where I went, ‘Oh, we can go there?'” Glaser, 39, recalled Tuesday. “She’s here, [but] she takes enough of a beating. She’s not on the stage.”

After praising Brady’s “great joke,” she repeated, “I didn’t even know we could really go there.”
The seven-time Super Bowl winner made headlines for calling attention to Kardashian and West’s co-parenting dynamic while wrapping up “The Roast of Tom Brady.”
“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight,” the athlete said. “Not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad.”
When the camera panned to Kardashian, 43, she gave him a slight shake of the head while holding onto a tight smile.
Brady wasn’t the only person behind the podium to lash out at the “Kardashians” star.
Tony Hinchcliffe compared the Skims founder to a “whale’s vagina” and told her to “close [her] legs,” while Kevin Hart brought her up in reference to “black d—ks.”
To make matters worse, Kardashian was loudly booed when she took the stage herself, which Netflix later edited out.
The Hulu personality brushed off the backlash and made light of 2023 dating rumors surrounding herself and Brady.
“I’d never say if we did or not. I’d just release the tape,” she said, referencing her infamous 2007 sex tape with Ray J.
Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, did not attend the live event but also took a lot of heat — and reportedly felt “deeply disappointed” by the “irresponsible” wisecracks about her family.
Glaser revealed on “The Howard Stern Show” that she and the other participants kept the former couple’s two kids, as well as Brady’s son with ex Bridget Moynahan, out of their sets.
“We all just agreed, ‘Let’s not throw the kids under the bus.’ … They didn’t ask for that,” she said before sharing one of the jokes she cut about Brady kissing his eldest child.
