Drake’s security guard was shot overnight outside the famed rapper’s $100 million Toronto mansion in what witnesses have described as a drive-by shooting.
The 48-year-old guard was struck around 2:10 a.m. ET by multiple gunshots, one of which landed in his upper chest, according to the Toronto Sun. An ambulance transported the unconscious victim to Sunnybrook Hospital and was taken into surgery.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening, the outlet reported. Police could not confirm if the “One Dance” rapper, 37, was inside the house, which sits on Park Lane Circle in the ritzy Bridle Path neighborhood, at the time of the shooting.

Toronto Police, who remain on the scene, surrounded the OVO founder’s property with yellow tape. A rep for Drake had no comment.
The shooting outside of Drake’s property comes amid his ongoing feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. The two performers have been releasing numerous diss tracks about each other these past few weeks after their former friendship completely disintegrated.
Lamar forced the “Degrassi” alum to shut down rumors he had a “hidden daughter” after the “HUMBLE” rapper made the stunning allegation in his diss track “Meet the Grahams.”
