No cutout is too extreme for the Met steps.

Kendall Jenner proved this point on Monday, walking the Met Gala 2024 red carpet in body-baring black gown that included a sheer panel around her midsection, putting the top of her bottom on full display.

The slightly sheer, sparkly design was actually a vintage piece from Givenchy’s 1999 collection that featured a low-cut neckline and a golden brown trim, which created more structured, statement shoulders and included tassels that hung at Jenner’s side.

As for her glam, the “Kardashians” star’s hair was equally statement-making, parted down the middle and styled in long brown waves that reached her waist.

Unsurprisingly, the 28-year-old model gave photographers her best poses at this year’s fashion fundraiser, which follows the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

Jenner is likely turning the head of ex-boyfriend Bad Bunny, who is also in attendance at the event, serving as one of four co-chairs alongside Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya and Chris Hemsworth. The “Un Verano Sin Tí” singer, 30, nailed the theme, dressing as a fashion matador in a custom Maison Margiela suit and accessorizing with a statement hat.

Kendall, meanwhile, was joined by her sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, on the red carpet. Her mom Kris Jenner also attended with her partner Corey Gamble, and the two chose to coordinate in all-white outfits, with the family matriarch rocking an Oscar de la Renta coat that was embellished with a large flower.

The 818 Tequila founder is no stranger to the Met Ball. Last year, Jenner took the no-pants trend for a spin as she walked up the Metropolitan Museum of Art steps in a black sequined Marc Jacobs bodysuit that revealed her booty.

The shimmery ‘fit featured long split sleeves that extended into cape-like trains hanging from each arm and paired the outfit with sky-high platform heels.

And she kept the cheeky theme going in a lingerie-inspired look at the afterparty, sporting a black thong on top of a sheer silver sequined bodysuit.

One person who was a fan of the look was 10-year-old niece North West, whose Joan Rivers-esque commentary was documented on an episode of the family’s Hulu reality show — and she threw mom Kim Kardashian under the bus in the process, revealing to the model that the Skims founder “did not like” her look.

When word got back to Kim, she wasn’t happy, telling her daughter, “By the way, North, you need to have some, like, loyalty. When mommy talks s—t about people, you cannot go tell them.”

The catwalk star also stuck with a racy look at the 2022 Met Gala, wearing a sheer Prada crop top that bared her chest along with a matching skirt.

Jenner also walked on the wild side in terms of her beauty look as she showed off bleached eyebrows for the occasion.
