Alex Hall is setting the record straight.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, the “Selling the OC” star, 35, rips into Brittany Snow for suggesting that she had an affair with the actress’ now-ex-husband, Tyler Stanaland.
“If you’re going to accuse me of something, say it. Say my name and say what I did. But she can’t do that because what she’s alluding to didn’t happen,” she says during a Season 3 press junket.

“So I think she was very calculated with her word choice, which unfortunately was a little defamatory towards me.”
In March, Snow, 38, appeared on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, during which she alluded to infidelity on Stanaland’s part and reacted to behavior exhibited in his close relationships with female cast members on the Netflix reality show.
The hunky real estate agent’s co-star Kayla Cardona memorably caused drama for trying to kiss Stanaland during Season 1 of the series — but it was his flirtation with Hall that garnered more headlines and chatter among viewers.

“I will say, what people think happened … happened. There’s a lot of grace that I give myself and also I can own — there’s a part of this that I don’t have a part in,” Snow said on “Call Her Daddy.”
The “Pitch Perfect” star added, “They messed up.”
But Hall emphasizes that Snow was strategically vague with her wording, noting that the latter woman never specifically accused the former of engaging in an extramarital dalliance with Stanaland.
“If you were to ever ask her about it, she could skirt around it and say, ‘Oh, I was talking about maybe a different girl that it did happen with,’” she tells “Virtual Reali-Tea.”
Hall asserts that any romantic interactions with Stanaland did not bleed into his marriage with Snow.
“I don’t know what her truth is,” she elaborates. “All I know is that the accusation and what she was implying — or what everyone took from that implication, which was that there might have been something going on between Tyler and I while they were married — is completely inaccurate and could not be farther from the truth.”
Notably, Snow announced her separation from Stanaland in September 2022 before filing for divorce the following January. Their union was legally dissolved by July 2023, months before his jacuzzi smooch with Hall aired.
“Tyler being unfaithful in his marriage with somebody else, that’s none of my business. If that happened or it didn’t happen, I don’t know. That’s between him and Brittany,” she says. “But what everybody took from that interview was aimed at me, a lot of it was aimed at me unfortunately.”
In Season 3 of “Selling the OC” Hall and Stanaland seemingly hit an impasse in their dynamic, unable to decipher amongst themselves whether it’s amorous or platonic.
Their outspoken castmate Alexandra Rose believes they ultimately didn’t work out because Stanaland is too “feminine” for Hall’s taste.
“He’s definitely more beta and feminine in my opinion,” she quips to “Virtual Reali-Tea.” “So I don’t think Hall and Tyler were ever a good match because Hall is very alpha, so she needs an alpha man. You can’t have a beta, right?”
“Selling the OC” Season 3 begins streaming Friday on Netflix.
