Jon Gosselin wishes he started taking weight-loss medication years ago.
“You know what’s annoying? The regret of not starting it 10 years ago,” the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” alum, 47 — who is on semaglutide, the generic form of Ozempic — exclusively told Page Six at the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center West Hollywood grand opening on Thursday night.
Gosselin started taking the popular drug — meant for type 2 diabetes patients, but used by many individuals, including a growing roster of celebrities, for weight loss — in February.
He raved that he’s lost 32 pounds in just two months and feels better than ever.

“I feel amazing! Like, why didn’t I do this sooner? Maybe it wasn’t the right time,” he said, noting that his nearly two decades in the spotlight have been full of ups and downs — marked by a contentious divorce from ex-wife Kate Gosselin and subsequent disputes over custody and child support.
“A lot of things were going on emotionally and I went to court a lot, which was super expensive,” he elaborated. “It just wasn’t a good time in my life. But now I finally have time to focus on myself.”
Semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic, impacts the brain to maintain satiety and suppress one’s appetite.
Aside from slimming down, Jon told us that the medicine has helped him give up alcohol while also implementing better eating habits.

After dropping weight, Jon says he frequently books appointments at Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center for body contouring and fat-melting treatments as he looks to tone up.
“I do CellSound, which they offer here. It’s ultrasonic visceral fat removal, and that can be the hardest kind of fat to get rid of,” the father of eight told us.
“You can do a million crunches but sometimes you just can’t tighten up that skin. But with this, you can just lay on the table and get closer to your goal. I was scared that it might hurt before I tried it, but I’m happy to report that it doesn’t.”
Due to his low tolerance for pain, Jon asserted that he would never go under the knife to transform his physique.
“When it comes to actual surgery like lipo[suction], I’m like, ‘Hell no.’ I would never do anything that’s invasive to my body that I don’t need,” he said, emphasizing that he’d rather exercise before visiting a plastic surgeon.
“If I have to run or do the elliptical or the Peloton or any of that, that’s on me. But I would never have voluntary surgery because I was lazy. That’s how I see it. I’m not super overweight. I just told myself, ‘Dude, you’ve got to stop eating fries. You’ve just got to stop eating drive-thru food.’”
Jon previously revealed that he put on 35 pounds after quitting his job as an IT technician to become a DJ.
“I just got complacent with my health,” he told “Entertainment Tonight” in February, adding that he had a tough time balancing his new career with a proper diet and sleep schedule.
Jon divulged that his work schedule from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. — four to five nights a week — oftentimes forced him to grab late-night meals at gas stations, which became problematic for his health.
He also admitted that his loving relationship with girlfriend Stephanie Lebo contributed to his weight gain.
“I’m in a comfortable relationship,” he said at the time. “I love my girlfriend, Stephanie. We just eat whatever we want, do whatever.”
Jon was among a host of notable names who came out to celebrate the latest Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center location, where guests were treated to noninvasive cosmetic procedures on Thursday night.
Serving as DJ for the bash, he spun a lively playlist for Brandi Glanville, Phaedra Parks, Taylor Armstrong, Mary Jo Eustace, Pavarti Shallow, Celisa “CJ” Franco, Galyna Saltkovska and Ashley Alexiss, among other star attendees.
