Gwyneth Paltrow is saving it for the next generation.
The Goop founder, 51, revealed that her daughter, Apple Martin, enjoys picking out pieces from her mom’s closet that she wore in the 1990s.
“She loves to go into the archive and try things on, and it’s really fun,” Paltrow told Zanna Roberts Rassi in an interview for “Today with Hoda and Jenna” aired on Wednesday, referring to a special archival closet in her home where she keeps all her past fashion looks.

Gwyneth Paltrow is ‘weirdly very into Spanx’
“She’s absconded with many of the ’90s Calvin Klein skirts, tube skirts and all kinds of slip dresses, and shes very into the ’90s –– as all the kids are apparently,” Paltrow continued.
Apple, 19, joins several celebs –– including Gwen Stefani, Tori Spelling and Jessica Biel –– who have all recently participated in the resurgence of the nineties fashion trends.
The model has even made headlines for trying on some of her mom’s famous looks and caused a stir in a controversial gown last June.
Paltrow previously shared a pic of her teenage daughter wearing the infamously maligned semi-sheer black Alexander McQueen dress she sported to the Oscars in 2002.
Apple posed with one hand on her hip and one hand under her chin while smiling and looking to the side.
The mother-daughter duo have widely been regarded as look-alikes in the photos Paltrow posts to her social media, including, most recently, while celebrating Easter with Apple and her son, Moses, 17.
Many people also pointed out how similar Moses looks to their father, Paltrow’s ex-husband Chris Martin.
The Coldplay singer and the Oscar winner have been separated since 2014 when they announced they were “consciously uncoupling.”
Paltrow has since tied the knot with Brad Falchuk in 2018, while Page Six broke the news in March that Martin and Dakota Johnson have been secretly engaged for years.
