Chrissy Teigen defended Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, after restaurateur Keith McNally called the former entertainment reporter “revolting.”
The Balthazar owner — completely unprompted — posted a carousel of photos on Instagram Monday night of the Amazon founder and his betrothed from various high-profile events, including this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars bash, and blasted her physical appearance.
“Does anybody else find Jeff Bezos’ New wife [sic] – Lauren Sanchez – ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING? What an ugly and F–king SMUG – LOOKING couple they make,” McNally, 72, wrote. “Is this what having 1000 Billion dollars does to people?”

Teigen, 38, immediately responded in the comments section to stand up for 54-year-old Sánchez’s character.
“She’s actually incredibly dynamic, accomplished and kind,” the “Cravings” cookbook author wrote, “and everyone who knows her would say the same.”
MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle also clapped back at McNally for his negative commentary.
“I think she’s accomplished, kind, smart and loved. Social media is fun, but this is not,” she wrote. “It is just mean for no reason.
“If we all took a breath and thought about what it feels like to be mocked and teased, we’d do a lot less of it.”
The Morandi owner has often found himself embroiled in controversies in light of his behavior on social media. He came under fire in January after defending famed director Woody Allen, who was accused of sexually assaulting his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow.
“If I don’t come out of this alive I’d like to say a big F—K OFF right now to everybody on Instagram who criticized me for supporting the INNOCENT Woody Allen,” McNally wrote alongside photos of himself lying in a hospital bed before undergoing surgery for a kidney stone.
Allen, 88, always has vehemently denied the allegations against him.
In the fall, McNally also sent shockwaves through the restaurant industry when he asked his followers to “listen to the other side” after the terrorist attacks against Israel.
