Even the No. 1 guy in the group makes social media mistakes.
Jax Taylor attempted to set the record straight after “liking” an Instagram comment that said he should have married his ex Stassi Schroeder amid his separation from his wife, Brittany Cartwright.
When the “Valley” co-stars posted a clip from their “When Reality Hits” podcast, which they still film together while on a break from their four-year marriage, an Instagram user asked for clarification.
“Please say the rumor about you liking a comment about wishing you had married Stassi isn’t true?!” the Bravo fan wrote Thursday. “You have the most amazing wife I hope you fight to keep her!”

Taylor, 44, replied, “yeah i was going through liking comments and i didn’t pay attention and accidentally hit like.”
The former SUR bartender, who dated Schroeder on Season 1 of “Vanderpump Rules,” claimed that reacting to the comment “most definitely was a mistake.”
Cartwright, 35, found out about the “like” while recording Tuesday’s episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.
“What? He ‘liked’ it?” she asked host Amanda Hirsch before laughing awkwardly. “Very weird. That’s so creepy.”
“Pump Rules” star Scheana Shay, meanwhile, reacted on “Watch What Happens Live” later that day, telling Andy Cohen that Taylor was “idiot.”
“I think Jax has a lot of work to do on himself, and [Cartwright] deserves to be treated better and treated with respect, and he hasn’t been doing that,” the “Good as Gold” singer added.
Taylor and Cartwright began dating in 2015.
Their relationship was rocked by a cheating scandal — with Cartwright famously telling her partner to “rot in hell” on their show — before their 2018 engagement.
The reality stars walked down the aisle in 2019 and welcomed son Cruz, now 3, two years later.
In February, the Bravolebrities told their podcast listeners that they were “taking some time apart” and co-parenting the little one.
“I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” Cartwright said at the time.
