Teresa Giudice admitted seeing her estranged brother, Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga at next week’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion taping will “definitely [be] weird.”
“It’s an uncomfortable situation, but, you know, it’s my job, so I will be fine,” the reality star told Pvnew exclusively Tuesday.
Giudice, 50, has long had a tempestuous relationship with her only sibling.
Things hit a new low when the Gorgas declined to attend Giudice’s wedding to Luis Ruelas last August.
And at BravoCon 2022 in October, Joe, 48, went on an impassioned rant seemingly slamming his sister for not welcoming him and his wife, 44, into the reality TV franchise years ago.
“This is the s–t that pisses me off,” he yelled while standing at the edge of the stage.
Joe, who has operated several businesses, compared the casting to working a job in construction, saying, “[If I] built this building and I have a cousin that does electrical, [then] I’m giving you a job.
“Not that we are being in competition,” he clarified. “F–k that. We’re family.”
But their familial ties were frayed even when the show began filming Season 13, which is currently airing, early last year.
In a recent episode, Giudice blamed Melissa’s “daddy issues” for her estrangement from Joe.
“My brother needs to get therapy because he keeps blaming me for everything. It’s not just me. She has daddy issues. She needs to go get help,” Giudice told co-stars Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider.
“Melissa always talked about that she had daddy issues, how her father would go out all the time and he was cheating on the mom, he was never home, so that’s why she always had a leash on my brother,” Giudice later said in a confessional.
The convicted fraudster spoke to Pvnew at the premiere of “Mafia Mamma,” which she attended with Ruelas, 47, her eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, 22, and Ruelas’ youngest son, Louie Ruelas Jr., 19.
A Pvnew spy heard Giudice raving about her favorite mob movie, whose title was eluding her. The film in question was “The Godfather.”
“Mafia Mamma,” which is about a suburban mom who unexpectedly inherits her late grandfather’s Mafia empire in Italy, stars Toni Collette and Monica Bellucci.
The comedy hits theaters on April 14.
