OJ Simpson was carefree — and cane-free — during his final outing in Las Vegas on Feb. 19.
The retired NFL player was photographed smiling at a restaurant in a black button-down shirt and jeans less than two months before losing his battle with cancer.
Prior to the Sin City sighting, Simpson had last been spotted walking with the help of a cane on Jan. 22.

The 76-year-old stayed seated for his last social media upload on Feb. 11 as he showed his support for the San Francisco 49ers via X ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl.
After gushing over the “beautiful day,” Simpson thanked fans for their “good, positive words” following the news of his diagnosis.
“My health is good,” the former Buffalo Bills running back said. “Obviously, I’m dealing with some issues, but I think I’m just about over it.”
Additionally, he shared his hopes to return to the golf course soon.
Reports surfaced two days prior that Simpson had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.
The reveal came eight months after he told his X followers that he “caught cancer … had to do the whole chemo thing” and “beat it.”
Simpson ultimately “succumbed” to the disease Wednesday.
“He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren,” read the statement posted to his X account the following day. “During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”
Simpson played 11 seasons for the NFL but was best known for his 1995 acquittal of the murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
