Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Ryan Anderson, revealed fans “will see what really happened” between them following their shocking split.
The special education teacher took to Instagram Saturday to thank fans for the overwhelming support he’s received since it was announced he and the ex-con would be parting ways last month.
“I just want to thank everybody for the support. It’s been great. I’m just living my life guys,” Anderson said, explaining he and Blanchard are still filming for her forthcoming Lifetime show which will explore her life beyond prison.

“Y’all will see what really happened on Lifetime. We were filming a lot, so stay tuned for that,” he continued.
“And I just want to thank everybody for the support. If you support me, follow me. I will post more stuff eventually. I’m just hanging in. I just want to say thank y’all to everybody and God bless.”
On March 28, Blanchard, 32, revealed via her private Facebook account that she and Anderson were parting ways three months after she was released from prison.
“People have been asking what is going on in my life,” she wrote, per People. “Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou.”
Blanchard stayed vague about the split, adding, “I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
The former couple tied the knot in a jailhouse wedding ceremony in July 2022 as Blanchard served eight years in prison for the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, which was carried out by her ex-boyfriend Nick Godejohn.
Blanchard and Anderson appeared head-over-heels for each other when she was released from prison in December 2023.
They made their red carpet debut in January at the premiere of Lifetime’s “Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard” and appeared side-by-side for several interviews.
However, everything wasn’t what it seemed as it was revealed Blanchard allegedly feared her estranged husband would physically harm her ahead of their split.
“Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her,” her friend Nadiya Vizier told People last week.
“He didn’t — but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared.”
The tattoo artist elaborated on their woes, explaining Anderson once got into Blanchard’s face and “screamed”
“Ryan is a big guy, and she told me it was really scary,” Vizier continued, adding Blanchard had called her lawyer after the bombshell fight.

Despite the rumors, Anderson claimed the breakup left him “blindsided” as his estranged wife quickly rekindled her relationship with ex-fiancé Ken Urker.
Talking to the Daily Mail Friday, he said, “For me it just came out of the blue. I had no idea she still had such strong feelings for him.”
“I haven’t spoken to her, so I just don’t know what’s going on,” Anderson continued. “I’m at a loss. I’m really not doing well at all.”
Blanchard and Urker got engaged in 2018 during her prison sentence but called it quits a year later.
Last week, the two flaunted their relationship for the paps as they were spotted walking hand-in-hand while heading to Dollar General in South Louisiana.
Despite their cozy outing and getting matching tattoos, they took to TikTok Live Thursday to confirm their relationship is just friendly.
“We have not had any intimacy. We’re just hanging out as friends,” Uker said, according to TMZ.
